70% of Cheese Products Made with Genetically Engineered Rennet

‘Yes, it’s true. Your cheese has more than likely been made with genetically engineered rennet. In fact, according to About.com, up to 70% of store-bought cheese products are.
This is simply another way that genetic engineering has invaded our food supply by stealth. Think about it. What else are we eating that is genetically engineered? What aren’t we being told about the most important thing we can do for our bodies – and that is to eat good, clean food?’

Tar Sands Victory Threatens to Flood Europe with World’s Dirtiest Fuel

‘The European Commission on Tuesday unveiled proposed legislation to toss out a requirement to label tar sands oil as dirtier than other fossil fuels—a move that is likely to bolster Canada’s bitumen industry as it jockeys to break into European markets.
Five years ago the Commission agreed to a piece of climate legislation called the ‘Fuel Quality Directive,’ which was to be implemented in 2010 with the aim of cutting transport fuel emissions by 6 percent by the year 2020. The Commission previously proposed under this directive to require that that tar sands be reported as a greater carbon emitter than conventional crude, which could have led to a penalty on bitumen, most of which comes from Canada.’

‘Alien life found above Derbyshire proves we’re descended from extraterrestrials’, say scientists

‘The truth about alien life isn’t just out there, it’s continuously raining down on us, and could possibly explain the origins of all human life.
That’s according to researchers at the University of Sheffield, and the University of Buckingham Centre for Astrobiology, who claim this picture of particulate matter in the Earth’s stratosphere is the long awaited proof of extraterrestrial life.
Not content with solving one of the universe’s greatest mysteries, however, the researchers also claim that their findings explain the origins of humanity and reveal that all life on earth originally came from space.’

Beyond Rotherham: scale of child sex exploitation revealed

‘The scale of abuse in Rotherham shocked many, but depressingly few of those working at the frontline of child sexual exploitation (CSE). As one support worker told me: “Rotherham is not the exception, it is more likely to be the norm.”
But what was different about Rotherham, was a number – 1,400. That is 1,400 childhoods stolen and families broken. It is hard to conceive in a town of around 250,000 people.
Victims and parents were ignored and at times, treated with contempt by the authorities. It rightly prompted questions about who knew what and why they did not act.’

Lib Dem MP ‘told aide to destroy evidence of Cyril Smith’s sex abuse’: Candidate for party president accused of helping to cover up paedophile’s abuse

‘A leading candidate for the Lib Dem presidency was yesterday accused of helping cover up Cyril Smith’s vile catalogue of child sex abuse.
Liz Lynne, who succeeded Smith as MP for Rochdale, allegedly ordered her PA to destroy several pages of notes containing a stream of allegations against the paedophile.
They detailed a litany of abuse at the Knowl View children’s home in Rochdale, which closed in the mid-1990s.
The PA, Deborah Doyle, said she had taken the notes during a 1996 telephone conversation with a former manager of the home, Martin Digan.’

CDC Suggests ‘Hermetically Sealed Caskets’ For Ebola Victims – AKA ‘Fema Coffins’

‘I remember years back when I was still writing for my original website, Neithercorp.us, we came across a then little known video of airtight “coffin liners”, hundreds of thousands, stacked in a field in the middle of Madison, Georgia in close proximity to Atlanta and the home of the CDC. We helped break that story which immediately swept through independent media circles .
Owners of the property leased to store the hermetically sealing plastic coffins stated that it was the CDC that had rented the land for storage of the coffins. Confirmation from the CDC has not been forthcoming.
I have been keeping my eyes open for any mention of these kinds of coffins since that story was released, knowing that one day, they would suddenly be touted by the government as if they had always been in use. It appears that day is close at hand…’

GMO Crops Accelerate Herbicide and Insecticide Use While Mainstream Media Gets It Wrong

‘Michael Specter’s recent articles bashing Vandana Shiva and the labeling of genetically engineered foods in the New Yorker (Seeds of Doubt and The Problem with G.M.O. Labels) are the latest high-profile pro-GMO articles that fail to engage with the fundamental critique of genetically engineered food crops in U.S. today. Rather than reduce pesticide inputs, GMOs are causing them to skyrocket in amount and toxicity.
Setting the record straight, Dr. Ramon J. Seidler, Ph.D., former Senior Scientist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), has recently published a well-researched article documenting the devastating facts, Pesticide Use on Genetically Engineered Crops, in Environmental Working Group’s online AgMag. Dr. Seidler’s article cites and links recent scientific literature and media reports, and should be required reading for all journalists covering GMOs, as well as for citizens generally to understand why their right to know if food is genetically engineered is so important. The short discussion below summarizes the major points of his five-page article.’

Louisiana Parish Claims Incarcerated 14-Year-Old Consented to be Raped by a Corrections Officer

‘A Louisiana parish is arguing that it should not be held liable for the rape of a 14-year-old girl in a juvenile detention center because the victim “consented” to be sexually assaulted by a 40-year-old corrections officer at the facility.
The victim, now 20, filed a civil lawsuit against her assailant, former guard Angelo Vickers, as well as Terrebonne Parish.
The age of consent in Louisiana is 17, but court documents allege that “Vickers could not have engaged in sexual relations within the walls of the detention center with [the victim] without cooperation from her. Vickers did not use force, violence or intimidation when engaging in sexual relations.”’

‘Parents all across the country are quickly learning that they have far fewer rights than previously believed, especially when it comes to making decisions about medical treatment for their children. A growing trend is for hospitals and doctors to falsely accuse parents of “medical child abuse” when they question a diagnosis or ask for a second opinion, in some cases using this accusation as an excuse to steal children away from their families and place them into state custody.’

Monsanto’s ‘zombie wheat’ case reveals serious legal vulnerabilities in business model

‘Monsanto’s business model is falling apart right in front of their own face, because the biotech firm blatantly disrespects the property rights of farmers, contaminating their fields with unauthorized genetically modified seeds. These unapproved GMO seeds inevitably cross-contaminate farmers’ fields, effectively destroying their yields.
That’s exactly what happened in Oregon last year when some unauthorized “zombie wheat” from the Monsanto Company went from the lab and intermixed with a farmer’s natural wheat. The debacle disrupted wheat exports as Japan and South Korea blocked shipments. A contingency of farmers have joined forces and sued Monsanto.’

‘Scottish police are investigating a case of electoral fraud in last month’s independence referendum after a video emerged online today of a man claiming to have found a bag of “hundreds” of voting ballots marked ‘Yes’ in a bin in Glasgow.

Fear Porn – An Attack on the Immune System

‘Fear porn is running rampant. You’ve all heard the purveyors yelling “doom! doom!” at the top of their lungs every time another new and improved disease comes rolling down the pike. This year it is ebola.
Last year it was the flu. Next year it will be something else. But guess what? There are two very important things that you can do:
Bolster your immune system. Turn down the volume on the fear porn.
Let’s face it. If you eat garbage, your immune system is garbage. If your immune system is garbage, you will get sick. Just how hard is that to understand? Health depends on the immune system. Sure, there are genetic predispositions towards certain diseases, but with a bolstered immune system, they can be warded off.’

A trail of broken promises and why voters learned never to trust Nick Clegg

‘How the flighty have fallen. In April 2010, after the first televised General Election party leader debate — when Nick Clegg stared down the camera with the most plausible sincerity at the viewing public — the Liberal Democrats briefly overtook the Conservatives and Labour in the opinion polls.
Now his party has a voter approval rating of 6 per cent, far below the figure it was polling when his two predecessors as leader were asked to make way for someone more likely to preserve the Lib Dems’ foothold in Parliament.
One reason for this prospect of electoral slaughter at the real poll in seven months’ time is no criticism of Clegg. He rightly took up the challenge offered by David Cameron to join the Conservatives to create a governing majority in Parliament, rather than to continue in opportunist opposition.’

We’ll ‘Rip Them To Bits’: Fury As Brain Damaged Man Is Deemed ‘Fit For Work’

Street Democracy writes:

ATOS cruel and harsh attitudes towards sick and disabled people are governed by staff members working for ATOS, DWP and our Tory Government.

Non empathy people, enforcing strict obedience policy towards those in pain and already suffering are subjected to humilitaing interviews.

In no way are they caring medicals with a strained hostile and invasive intimacy with those disadvantaged in life.

Hitting those unable to contribute to a working week is nothing more than deplorable death dealing polices at best by wilful arrogance of staff.

ATOS administer evil in print offering real financial harm to the most vulnerable, those in desperate situations in our society.

Innately decent people who's crime it is to be too ill to work, are being exposed to a insensitive siege mentality of government officials blindly following the tail of the one in front.

Questioning nothing, they put together oppressive rules to shatter the psyche of any poor who is sick, disabled or suffering from mental health issues, further into a dismal existence of a Tory punishing State.

How much more are we going to take?

‘An epileptic man with brain damage, his carer and neighbour have reacted with fury after the disabled man was deemed ‘fit for work’ by an “overzealous government” and vowed to “rip them to bits”.
Geoffrey Wilkins, 53, from Chelmsford suffers from epilepsy, brain damage, heart disease and depression. Yet despite his obvious medical conditions Mr Wilkins was found ‘fit for work’ by Atos and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in January 2014.
Mr Wilkins, who takes sixteen different medications to help control his poor health, said “it felt like someone has smashed me over the head with a sledgehammer” when his monthly benefits income was slashed from £700 a month to less than £300.’

Tories would freeze benefits for two years

Welfare benefits would be frozen for two years under a Conservative government, George Osborne announced today.
Speaking at the Conservative Party conference in Birmingham, the chancellor said his party would freeze working age benefits, including housing benefit and universal credit, from April 2016.
He said the move would save £3.2bn a year by 2017/18.
In the 2012 Autumn Statement the government announced a 1% cap on increases to benefit payments.
Under Mr Osborne’s plans, disability and pensioner benefits would be excluded from the freeze, as well as other payments like statuary maternity pay.
The Conservative Party claims that earnings have grown by 14% while working age benefits have been uprated by 22.4%.
After the two-year benefit freeze this gap will disappear, according to Conservative forecasts, meaning earnings and benefits would grow by roughly the same amount.
Mr Osborne said: ‘This is the choice Britain needs to take to protect our economic stability and to secure a better future.
‘The fairest way to reduce welfare bills is to make sure that benefits are not rising faster than the wages of the taxpayers who are paying for them. For we will provide a welfare system that is fair to those who need it, and fair to those who pay for it too.’
Grainia Long, chief executive of the Chartered Institute of Housing, said the proposal ‘fails to reflect the reality of the housing crisis’. ‘We are not building enough homes, which means the cost of housing and therefore the housing benefit bill is going up. Millions of people have no choice but to rely on housing benefit to secure a roof over their head.’
Yesterday, homelessness charities queued up to express concern about Conservative plans announced yesterday to bar 18 - 21-year-olds from claiming housing benefit.
Jon Sparkes, new chief executive of homelessness charity Crisis, said: ‘We have grave concerns about how these proposals will affect young people who cannot rely on the support of their parents.
‘While we welcome proposals to offer better training support and apprenticeships, we must make sure that housing support remains available for those who have no choice but to fend for themselves.’
Balbir Chatrik, director of policy at the youth homelessness charity Centrepoint, said: ‘Housing benefit isn’t a lifestyle choice for homelessness young people, it’s a necessity. Severing this lifeline would have a catastrophic impact on their futures.’

Three Suppressed Technologies that Could Revolutionize Daily Life

‘The US has a long history of suppressing technologies in an effort to help government aligned corporations extend their profits. This history dates back over 100 years which we will outline — in part — in this article.
Nikola Tesla
Nikola Tesla, the man who discovered how to useAlternating Current (AC) electricity, has many rumors surrounding his life. Born in 1856, he has basically disappeared from the history books, only for people to rediscover his work thanks to the internet.
He was a well known inventor in his time, first arriving in America to work for Thomas Edison. He later branched out on his own in disgust of Thomas Edison’s business practices. A rivalry between Tesla and Edison soon became apparent as the debate over AC/DC electricity heated up. Tesla, who ended up winning the debate, argued that AC electricity was more efficient and cost effective, which was true.’

Rothschild Zionist Tony Blair: People should listen to my advice on ISIS as I have been to war in Iraq before

‘Tony Blair has said that politicians should heed his advice that British boots on the ground in Iraq should not be ruled out because he had experience of taking Britain to war in that country.
The former Prime Minister said people should “appreciate” that he has learnt lessons through going to war in Iraq and listen to his thoughts on tackling Islamic State because they are “precisely” the same terrorist forces he battled during the conflict.
His comments come as Lieutenant General Sir Graeme Lamb, a former director of British special forces, said it is now time to “rule in” the idea of involving British ground forces in the conflict.’

Tony Blair: 'Ground troops are necessary to fight Islamic State – diplomacy will not defeat them'

‘Tony Blair has urged Britain not to rule out sending ground troops to combat the Islamic State (Isis), arguing air strikes are not enough to defeat the terrorist group.
In a 6,500 word essay published on his website, the former Prime Minister said that with the consent of Iraq and Syria and a broad international alliance including Arab countries, David Cameron could avoid the “weaknesses” of Western strategy after September 11th.
Mr Blair, whose political career was defined by his decision to follow America into war in Iraq and Afghanistan, said he fully accepted there is “no appetite” for ground engagement in the West but it may be necessary.’

‘Starting this year McDonald’s will begin the process of an 18-month rebrand. The need for a total makeover stems from a number of dismal sales months. A new report surveying 3,000 consumers also found that baby boomers, Gen-Xers and millennials are just not lovin’ fast food.
To combat the poor image, McDonald’s is offering free coffee the next two weeks. It also recently trademarked McBrunch, because, someone had to! McBrunch might not be coming anytime soon because of logistics, but the company is already implementing a new breakfast menu in San Diego that will make McDonald’s appear more like a French café than a billion-dollar burger shop. It will even include Petite Breakfast Pastries. As CEO Don Thompson stated, it’s all about creating a “more trusted and respected brand” that “customers will feel good about.”’

Totalitarianism, American Style

‘We have undergone a transformation during the last few decades—what John Ralston Saul calls a corporate coup d’état in slow motion. We are no longer a capitalist democracy endowed with a functioning liberal class that once made piecemeal and incremental reform possible.
Liberals in the old Democratic Party such as the senators Gaylord Nelson, Birch Bayh and George McGovern—who worked with Ralph Nader to make the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Mine Safety and Health Act, the Freedom of Information Act and the OSHA law, who made common cause with labor unions to protect workers, who stood up to the arms industry and a bloated military—no longer exist within the Democratic Party, as Nader has been lamenting for several years.
They were pushed out as corporate donors began to transform the political landscape with the election of Ronald Reagan. And this is why the Democrats have not, as Bill Curry points out, enacted any major social or economic reforms since the historic environmental laws of the early ’70s.’

Black market for water now thriving in California as ultra-rich pay huge premiums for covert water deliveries

‘Water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink. This is quickly becoming the new state motto in California, where epic drought conditions are affecting even the highest echelons of society, including ultra-rich areas near Santa Barbara where celebrities, CEOs, and other “one-percenters” are now having to truck in water from unknown sources just to keep their laundry washed and their dishes clean.
We’re no longer talking about extravagant things like swimming pools and polo fields, many of which are now dry, brown and decaying in the plush Santa Barbara suburb of Montecito. No, one of the richest zip codes in the entire U.S. is struggling just to maintain enough water for its residents to live, according to reports.’

‘Observing the current trend in world events, from the endless Western “war on terror” which has justified the trail of orchestrated chaos,  genocide and ruin across the Middle  to the attempts to instigate WW3with Russia and China in a orgy of MADness;  from the head-chopping, organ eating amoral  ISIS entity, to the widespread geo-engineering and biocide of all living systems on the planet, one cannot avoid the impression that we live in a Psychopathic Control Matrix, a contrived, fear-based  toxic reality, engineered by a small but powerful element in the society.
Their mental processes differ vastly from the majority of decent humans who are generally not consumed by excessive greed or lust for power.  Most human beings do not wish to harm others, and moreover actually want to be a force for good and a constructive contributor to the society.’

‘Thousands of books have been written about mysticism over thousands of years, and this essay is a mere 1,012 words. Do I really think I can convey the essence, power and bliss of the mystical in a thousand words?
I do.
That is what I set out to do after recently viewing numerous videos and reading many essays that I found on the World Wide Web. After reviewing this mass of content, I realized that after all those hours of viewing and reading content by gurus, masters and experts, I realized I had learned nothing of value.  Anti-nuclear’ Obama plans to spend $1 trillion on nuclear weapons

‘Your car could soon start cutting off your phone calls, silencing the radio and monitoring the weather via intelligent windscreen wipers as insurers step up their hi-tech efforts to turn us into better drivers and cut the number of accidents.
Every driver in Britain could be monitored by their insurer’s tracking technology within the next decade, experts have predicted. Those who refuse could face higher premiums or be denied cover altogether.
So-called “black box” or “telematics” technology is becoming more popular because it enables good drivers to get discounts on their insurance. The boxes are especially favoured by young drivers, who would often pay far more under conventional underwriting.’

Australian Prime Minister: Freedom Must be Given Up for Security

‘Australia aims to strengthen security by introducing new legislation to combat homegrown terrorism, said PM Tony Abbott.
The new laws will criminalize travel to some conflict areas and grant authorities broader access to citizens’ communications.
“Regrettably, for some time to come, the delicate balance between freedom and security may have to shift,” Prime Minister Tony Abbott said in a statement on Monday, as he previewed a bill to be introduced in Parliament later this week.’

Rockefellers go green: Rockefeller foundation divests funds in fossil fuel industries

‘The American family that for decades has been synonymous not just with great riches but with riches created by oil said on Monday that it was moving to divest itself entirely from all oil and fossil fuel interests.

Ebola, biological warfare against Africa?

‘A team of eight experts and journalists visiting the southern region of the West African state of Guinea were found dead in the town of Nzerekore on Sept. 20. Reports indicate that they were there to educate people about the nature of the disease for the purpose of its prevention.
Reports from Guinea say that the delegation had met with elders in the community but were later attacked by youths. Investigations into the details of the killings are ongoing.
There is tremendous mistrust surrounding the spread of the Ebola virus disease in some West African states where the epidemic has had an impact. Doctors Without Borders reported in April that their teams were forced to withdraw from Macenta in Guinea after being stoned by youths who said they were there to spread the disease.’

Vigil for alleged victims of child abuse held at Elm Guest House, Barnes

‘A vigil for alleged victims of child abuse was held outside a guest house in Barnes being investigated under Operation Fernbridge.
About 20 people gathered outside Elm Guest House, Rocks Lane, on Monday, September 15, to lay flowers and balloons for children whose lives were affected by the alleged abuse.
The guest house is at the centre of a police investigation into allegations of child sex abuse dating back to the 1970s and 1980s.
It is alleged that the guest house was advertised as a place for gay men to have parties, but was the centre of a VIP paedophile ring visited by powerful people.’
